Just to bring you up to speed just incase you might be living under a rock and not heard that loud boom that was the internet blowing up shortly after Monday Night RAW came to an abrupt end:
RAW Roulette night and R-Truth & John Cena are in a tables match which ends when Truth puts Cena through the table due to the run in from CM Punk. Punk grabs a mic and heads to the top of the entrance ramp.
After what I heard last week I was pretty sure that anything that had to come out of CM Punks mouth was sure to be gold.
MY POST PROMO/SHOOT THOUGHTS:

CM Punk is a LEGEND. Yup, that pretty much sums it all up. |
It was definetly a mark out moment for me! It's been a long time since we've seem something as controversial as that happen on a Monday Night. I don't really know what to make of it really but for some reason there's a voice in my head that keeps repeating "Holy Shit, did he just say that?". For anyone that actually knows anything about Pro Wrestling, well.. they'll know what the word smark means, and any smark will tell you that the promo that CM Punk just cut had twinges (ok, that's an understatment, granted) of a shoot material. Overall however, it seemed as though CM Punk was the vocal instrument for so many WWE Wrestlers/SuperStars/Sports Entertainers (I really don't care what the correct political term is at the moment) who had felt that they were not being given the opportunity that felt they deserved. Most recently being Chavo Guerrero who recently asked for, and got his release earlier this week. The reason I feel as though Punk's exit was historic was because he put it all out there and said what he had to say, uncensored until his microphone got cut off, which made the whole thing seem even more impressive. As I mentioned earlier, Twitter seemed to blow up immediately, and here's some of the comments:
Ring Of Honor: "Thanks to @CMPunk for the shout out for @ringofhonor on @WWE Raw. He says he's the Best in the world. Watch now - http://ow.ly/5rDQR"
Joey Styles: "Holy crap! I thought I was bad when I was shooting on Vince and the company. OMG! Holy crap!"
Jim Ross: "Most compelling, controversial end of Raw in a long time. @cmpunk edgy, attitudinal & full of rage. Don't know what to think. Wow."

Carlito: "Wow, how did punk con Wwe into letting shoot on the company? Genius!"
X-Pac: "@CMPunk It was priceless my friend. Punk's in a league of his own at the moment. When u dont give a f*&#K homeruns r easier to hit"

Shane 'Hurricane' Helms: "And @CMPunk took his own "Rocket to the Moon" tonight!! I'm gonna have a drink in his honor! A big glass of Pepsi! :-)"
Maryse: "@CMPunk for President of the United-States...."
Stone Cold Steve Austin: "@CMPunk just melted my 52 inch TV with a scorching hot promo...delivery, content, and attitude...one of the best promos I've ever seen."
WWE: "WWE Chairman Vince McMahon suspends @CMPunk http://wwe.me/5rF37 #RawRoulette #WWE #Raw"
ACTIONS AND CONSEQUENCES:
ssssO... After reading that last post from WWE, it seems CM Punk has been suspended for his outburst. Could this be a work? What's the deal?
