The Mark Out Moment of my Lifetime

The following is all Free-Style. It's inspired by the Survivor Series (2014) I said I would not really ever be posting here again, but this seems like a fitting canvas for me to get my thoughts down and I apologize in advance if you are reading this and it seems rushed or non-nonsensical, but it is my writing and thoughts while I was under the influence of 'MarkOut Syndrome' possibly the biggest case I've had in a long time. It's 5:09 a.m. November 24th 2014. Survivor Series just ended an hour back, and John Cena was eliminated from Team Cena, Ziggler won, Authority is gone, Sting debuts. Possibly the greatest Survivor Series ever?

"So Survivor Series has come to a close, and it's half an hour after the show and I'm still buzzing. I have just witnessed my personal favourite Survivor Series moment of all time. Words cannot do the deed justice, but Sting has arrived in the WWE. The definition of a slow burn MOMENT. In the most anticipated traditional Survivor Series tag team match, we've been put through a roller coaster of emotions, with the climax being the debut of the man called 'Sting'.

The match started out with the BigShow and Mark Henry opening for their respective teams. Triple H would whisper words of encouragement to Henry from the apron, as as The World's Strongest Man went running into the BigShow, he would be hit with a devastating Knockout punch, and covered for the 1-2-3. Talk about starting strong.

Ryback would be the first man eliminated from Team Cena, and when it was finally down to 3 on 3 (Harper, Kane, Rollins vs. Cena, Bigshow and Dolph Ziggler) the BigShow would turn on Cena, hitting him with a knockout punch, causing Cena to be eliminated. Show would then walk out of the match, changing the odds drastically to 3 on 1, with the 1 being Dolph Ziggler, outside of the ring and barely able to move. The general feeling at this point was sombre, the atmosphere was as if someone had punched the air out of the resistance to the Authority. A glimmer of hope shone through as Ziggler would hit the ZigZag on Kane, eliminating him, shortly followed by a rollup pin, eliminating Seth Rollins. And then there were 2. Ziggler fought valiantly, fending off the Authority dogs Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury and avoiding Kerb stomp after curb stomp. I WAS INVESTED in this match. Ziggler would eventually be attacked by Triple H, who had eliminated the previous referee. Thats when it happened. I heard a crow and the lights get dimmer and I marked out. I jumped up and before even confirming what was going on started spinning around on the spot, waking up my mum who was asleep in the living room, looking at me as thought I'd lost my mind.

IT WAS ELECTRIC. STING was walking down the aisle, towards the ring... knocks out referee Scott Armstrong with a punch.. I could not believe my eyes. And then, a moment, a WrestleMania size staredown between Sting and Triple h. THIS MOMENT WILL LAST FOREVER. Time had stopped for the second time this year. The first time being when The Undertaker, lost his match at WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar. The second being when Sting stepped into the ring and Triple H and Sting had this staredown. Triple H goes for an attempt on Sting, only to wind up being dropped with a Scorpion Deathlock. Sting pulls Dolph Ziggler over Seth Rollins. Sting ENDS the Authority. Team Cena wins, and we probably just witnessed one of the Greatest Survivor Series moments, if not the MOST anticipated moments in Professional Wrestling History. As Jim Ross would say, 'BAH GAWD!' THAT's how it's supposed to be done!"
